With sadness, we share the passing of Johnny M. Vigil (Kimball, Nebraska). Johnny, born on July 29, 1957, passed away on September 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Vigil; his brothers, Paul Vigil and Arthur E. Vigil, Jr.; and his aunts and uncles, Roger Vigil, T. V. Vigil, Junior Vigil, Johnny Vigil, Robert Fino, Ruth Phillips, Mary Melchor and Cruzita Cabrera.
He is survived by: his mother Dolores Vigil (Rodriguez) of Kimball, NE; and his siblings, Mark Vigil of Kimball, NE and Lauri Delaney (Kevin) of Cheyenne, WY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cantrell Funeral Home (609 S Walnut St, Kimball, NE 69145). A rosary was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (511 S Howard St, Kimball, NE 69145). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
