He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Culek and LaVon Culek (Bourlier). He is survived by: his wife Constance Rebein; his sons, Chris (Kristy) and Bob (Katie); his grandchildren, Kenna (Tyler Magninie), Mitch, Aubrey, Britton, Cashlyn and Decker; his siblings, Linda McGinnis of Kimball, Charles Culek (Eileen) of Kimball, Jim Culek (Denice) of Kimball, Beth Johnson of Pittsburg, KS. and Paul Culek (Judy) of Cheyenne, WY; and his caregiver Carrie Young Zamora.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cantrell Funeral Home (609 S Walnut St, Kimball, NE 69145). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (511 S Howard St, Kimball, NE 69145). A burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the Kimball Cemetery (3426 Co Rd 39, Kimball, NE 69145).
Joe will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his deep love for family, and his lasting contributions to the Kimball community.
