With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Phillips of Kimball, Nebraska, born in Ault, Colorado, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruth left this world on May 20, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Virginia Fino and Max Rodriguez; her husband Norman; her former life partner Joaquin Flores; her siblings, Cruzita Cabrera, Jose Maria Rodriguez and Robert Fino; her brother-in-law Arturo Vigil; and her grandchildren, Vicki Biberos Barrett and Daniel Biberos.

She is survived by : her siblings, Raymond Rodriguez (Cenia), Lupe Rodriguez, Estan Rodriguez (Clementina), Mary Melchor, Dolores Vigil and Phyllis Salazar; and her children, Carmen Thulin, Richard Flores (Cathy), Felix Flores (Brenda), Geri Biberos (Albert), Alex Flores (Jolene), Helen Flores, Michael Flores (Linda) and Sara Flores (George). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A wake was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Cantrell Funeral Home (609 S Walnut St, Kimball, NE 69145). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (511 S Howard St, Kimball, NE 69145).
