He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Rhodes; his brother-in-law Tim Gertner; and his grandmother Dorothy Rhodes. He is survived by: his father Lee Rhodes (Barb Lorenzo) of Sterling; his wife Peggy Stoltenberg of Sterling; his children, Dara Rhodes-Draper (Kye) of Gurley, Nebraska, Andrew and Kenny Rhodes of Sterling, Colorado; his stepson Joey Stoltenberg (Kiahna); his sisters, Angela Mills (Aaron) of Pierce, Colorado, Brenda Gertner-Miller (Clay) of Sterling and Connie Japp (Jeff) of Sterling; and his close friend Dennis Zink of Iliff, Colorado.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, six nephews, and two nieces.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wade Rhodes Memorial Fund to be used for his children, care of Tennant Funeral Home, PO Box 1547, Sterling, CO 80751.
