He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, William Caveye, Fred Kleffman and George Ingraham. He is survived by: his grandmothers, Mary Ann Caveye and Kay Ingraham; his parents, Paula Caveye and Rick Caveye; his sisters, Emily Leeder (Jon) and Jenny Tesnohlidek (Grant); his niece Kaylee; and his nephews, Grayson, Logan and Easton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bethany Funeral Home (8201 Harrison St., La Vista, NE 68128). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Dan's memory may make memorial donations to the Stephen Center or to the family. https://stephencenter.org will be remembered for his caring heart, his compassion for animals, and the kindness he showed to those around him.
