As Nicolas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Nicolas. Though Nicolas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufino Lopez and Estefana Gomez; his wife Guadalupe Lopez; and his son Santos Lopez. He is survived by: his children, Juandiego Martinez (Jen), Lusero Martinez, Estefana Lopez and Chula Ruiz (Vicente). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Funeral Home & Cremation Service (8201 Harrison St., La Vista, NE 68128). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
