He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Thelen and Elaine Thelen (Hasselbalch); his wife Deanna Marie Johanson; and his brothers, Billie and David Lee Thelen.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Thelen (Tammy) of Concord, Tammy Weniger (Greg) of Georgia and Traci Hamilton (Jake) of Acworth, GA; his grandchildren, Tressa Thill (Tim), Terra Rexilius (TJ), Tia Thelen, Ashleigh Thomas (Tyler), Brooke Rysdyk (Johnny), Jordan Weniger (Chelsea), Scott Weniger (Hailey), Madison Rosalen (Nick), Kennedi Moore (Andrew), Jonah Hamilton and Teaghan Hamilton; and his siblings, Connie Bright (Bob) of Bellwood, NE, Bob Thelen of Weslaco, Pam McCollum (Dexter) of Schuyler, Dan Thelen (Neenah) of Stromsburg, Roxanne Rasmussen (John) of Shelby and Dena Davis (Al) of Shelby. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
