It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Alan Schuldt of Lawrence, Nebraska, who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Schuldt and Henrietta Schuldt (Thompson); his former wife LeCinda "Cindy" Bisson; his wife Jan Zoet; his brothers, Les and Dave; and his niece Amber.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Swearingen (Nick) of Sioux City, IA and Adam Schuldt (Melissa) of Grand Island, NE; his stepdaughters, Heather Bagshaw of Omaha, NE and Heidi Bakker of Sioux City, IA; his grandchildren, Zachery, Isaac, Noah Swearingen of Sioux City, IA, Jaxson and Jordan Schuldt of Grand Island, NE; his stepgrandchildren, Britney Bagshaw, Brianna Henning (Simon) of Omaha, NE, Jaydon, Hannah, Micah and Elijah Suarez of Sioux City, IA; and his siblings, Ron Schuldt (Ginny) of Littleton, CO and Marcia Harrington (Mike) of Garrison, MN..
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stone State Park (5001 Talbot Rd, Sioux City, IA 51103).
