He is survived by: his parents, Mike Malena and Joy Malena (Moss) of Leigh, NE; his wife Rachel Malena (Wendt) of Leigh, NE; his children, Carmen, Cruz and Cannon; his siblings, Heather Held (Keal) of Leigh, NE and Sean Malena (Tiffany) of Leigh, NE; his in-laws, Terry and Spring Wendt of Leigh, NE; and his brothers-in-law, Erick Wendt (Sara) of Leigh, NE and Zach Wendt (Jenny) of Creston, NE. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (32392 122nd Ave, Columbus, NE 68601). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Leigh City Cemetery.
