Bernie C. Bishop Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernie C. Bishop of Lexington, Nebraska, born in Hawarden, Iowa, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Harold G. DeWall; her daughter Linda (DeWall); and her granddaughter Audra Dishman. She is survived by: her daughter Debra; her husband Pete Bishop of Lexington; her daughters, Dianne Carson (Don) of East Earl, Pennsylvania and Deb Ourada (Tim) of Lexington; her stepsons, Scott Bishop of Lexington and Bruce LaBute (Kathey) of New Castle, Wyoming; her son-in-law Jim Franzen of Cozad, Nebraska; and her siblings, Bob Schumacher (Marie) of Sioux Falls, Greg Schumacher (Vivian) of Alcester and Pat Wolf (Paul) of Pella, Iowa. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services and Gatherings will be followed.
