Helvia Fierro Piñon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helvia Fierro Piñon of Lexington, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2025 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Fierro and Maria Ascension Reynosa; her daughter Rosa Maria Fierro; her siblings, Benjamin Fierro and Genoveva Olivas; and her granddaughter Vanessa Piñon.
She is survived by: her husband Roberto Piñon of Lexington; her children, David Fierro (Denise), Rene Fierro (Roxanne), Elizabeth Fierro (Manuel), Robert Piñon, Jr. (Francis), Juanita Piñon (Salvador), Manuel Piñon and Roberto Piñon; her grandchildren, Greg Fierro, Alexis Fierro, David Fierro, Jr., Araceli Fierro, Aliana Fierro, Rene Fierro (Amanda), Isaac Fierro, Caesar Fierro, Ricardo Barrientos, Angelina Barrientos, Krystal Piñon (Jose), Maritza Piñon, Manuel Piñon, Jr., Rubi Aragon (Miguel), Jesus Leyva, Jr. (Ariana), Alejandro Leyva, Jazmin Leyva, Anthony Piñon, Vincent Piñon, Athena Piñon, Victor Piñon, Liliana Piñon, Makayla Barrera, Christofer Corzo, Maria Gonzalez, Salvador Aguilar, Evelyn Aguilar and Lorenzo Aguilar; and her siblings, Monica Fierro, Jesus Manuel Fierro, Salvador Fierro, Sylvia Fierro, Hilda Fierro, Maria Gonzalez, Margarita Fierro and Manuel Fierro, Jr.. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home (106 W 8th St, Lexington, NE 68850). A rosary was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (301 E 6th St, Lexington, NE 68850).
