With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maureen Lauby (Lexington, Nebraska), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maureen left this world on December 2, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Maureen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maureen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Kirsten A. Volkmam; and her parents, Hetti Pieper and Ted Pieper. She is survived by: her former husband Richard Volkman.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel (106 W 8th St, Lexington, NE 68850).
