He was predeceased by: his mother Rosella Davis; his brothers, Jim and Jack Davis; his parents-in-law, Maxine and Donald Carlson; his brother-in-law Tom Carlson; and his siblings' children, Shannon Aguire and Bradley Teeters.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Davis of Lexington, NE; his children, Tim Davis (Brandon Dennis) of Omaha, NE, Nichole Jones (Alex) of Le Mars, IA and Tedi Davis of Lexington, NE; his grandchildren, Jamie Peterson (Ryan), Domonic, Landon, Zoey, Hayden and Alexis; his great grandchildren, Ashton and Madison Libby; his siblings, Bill Davis of Springfield, MO, Jerry Davis of Overton, NE, Kerry Davis (Karen) of Castle Rock, CO, Cayla Anderson (Creig) of Centralia, MO, Dee Ann Nickel (Rod) of Elm Creek, NE, Jody Teeters (Roger) of Overton, NE, Sherry Hageman (Dennis) of Overton, NE and Chris Sweet (Marc) of Johnstown, CO; and his pets, Sheba and Sophie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Calendar First Presbyterian Church (801 N Lincoln St, Lexington, NE 68850).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the ALS Association at als.org or to the First Presbyterian Church in Lexington, Nebraska.
