We are sad to announce that, on March 23, 2025, at the age of 54, Michelle Ann Burkey of Lexington, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Georgia Burkey (Boggs) and Rodney Burkey; her children, Joe Burkey of Elwood and Taneesha Strackbein of York; her grandchildren, Ellena, Lailah, Nathalie and Rodney Burkey; her siblings, Troy Ogg (Gayle) of Lincoln and Tonia Wade (Todd) of Douglas; and her nephews, James Dean of Lincoln and Jacob Dean of Exeter.
She was a truly kind person who literally "gave the shirt off her back" by donating her organs so that others have a chance to live. She will live on through others and would urge you to donate if you're able.
