She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Berg and Henrietta Berg (Roe); her husband Ed Ringenberg; her son Glenn Ringenberg; her brothers, Jody and James Berg; and her children-in-law, Linda Nelson, Sue Ringenberg and Clifford Cox.

She is survived by: her children, Dan Nelson of Lincoln, Dr. Lynn Ringenberg of Tampa and Elaine Cox of Lexington; and her niece Joann Reiners of Lexington. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and many friends.
