We are sad to announce that, on April 8, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Rita (Kozisek) Sorensen in Lexington, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Art Kozisek and Christine Kozisek (Peters); and her stepdaughter Krystle Sorensen. She is survived by: her husband Kevin Sorensen of Columbus; her daughter Tracy Thies (McLain) of David City; and her siblings, Bea Wilson of Seward, Jill Aerts of Columbus, Chuck Kozisek (Heather) of Gretna, Leo Kozisek, Steve Kozisek of David City, John Kozisek of Mesquite, NV and Tim Kozisek (Diane) of David City. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to St. Joseph's Villa.
