Virginia Lee Meyer Obituary
We announce the death of Virginia Lee Meyer of Lexington, Nebraska, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 91. Virginia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esper Casper and Mary Casper (Shada); and her siblings, George, Mose, Paul, Nick, Jack, Sophia, Georgia and Roberta.
She is survived by: her sister Carol Bihlmaier of Kissimee; her brother-in-law Wayne Herman of Reliance; and her children, Steve Owen (Shannon) of Omaha, Michael Owen (Rai) of Omaha, Kim Tobey (Ronald) of Merna, Julie Knaggs (Gene) of Kearney, Shelia Taylor (Ron Criss) of Elwood, Lori Holkan of Lexington and Lani Grubb (Dan) of Lexington. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home (106 W 8th St, Lexington, NE 68850). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Elwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are kindly suggested to go towards the Dravet Syndrome Foundation.
