He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Moeller and Catherine Moeller. He is survived by: his wife Lana Moeller (Knudsen); his sons, Cameron (Shannon) and Todd (Jill); his grandchildren, Owen, Hattie, Anna, August and Calvin; and his brother Don (Connie).
In recognition of his contributions to the University and Nebraska agriculture, Alan was a 2014 Honoree of the Nebraska Hall of Agricultural Achievement.
