Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alice M Dovenbarger of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 83, on August 4, 2025. In the sacred silence of farewell, Alice is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Alice's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dean; and her brother Ted. She is survived by: her son Bradley (Shelia) of Weeping Water, NE; and her brother Frank (Macel) of Broken Bow, NE. She is also survived by grandchildren, and nieces and nephews, and many other friends and family.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Lincoln Berean Church (6400 S 70th St, Lincoln, NE 68516). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Alice's name to the Lincoln Berean Church.
