He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Ruth Christensen and Metcalf; and his grandson Jeremy. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Karl (Chris), Kirk (Renae), Rhonda (Mike McClellan) and Julie (Craig Schnitzler); his grandchildren, Brad, Ryan, Christy, Jonah, Kaylyn, Aaron, Jacob, Tyler, Austin, Preston and Hannah; and his brothers, Richard (Judy) and Neil (Diane). He is also survived by great grandchildren and a large host of other family members and friends.
Memorials will be given in Alvin's name to children and youth educational organizations.
