It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelia Gandara of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Mariscal and Elvira Mariscal; and her brothers, Raymond, Richard, Felipe and Ernest.
She is survived by: her husband Zeke; her children, Gary Gandara (Johnna), Denise Stevens (Gary) of Lincoln, NE and Timothy Gandara (Christy) of Westminster, CO.; her sisters, Delores "Lola" Kirwan and Amparo "Amy" Bauer; and her brother-in-law Lester Hampton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
