It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Clayburn of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Blue Springs, Nebraska, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Barbara farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barbara is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nathan and Mary Bragg (Wright); her husband Ansel Clayburn; her son Kent Clayburn; and her grandson Evan Clayburn.
She is survived by: her son Neal Clayburn (Shelley) of Lincoln; her daughter-in-law Constance Clayburn of Moraga, CA; and her grandchildren, Nate (Caitlyn), Nick (Isabel) and Alexis (Ernie). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to the AB Clayburn Scholarship at the Peru State College Foundation.
