For Barbara is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Kastens and Leona Kastens. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Stacy Hergenrader (Lanz), James II Hergenrader (Kelly) and Jonathan Hergenrader (Amanda); her grandchildren, Haley Scurto (James), Alex Hergenrader (Celina) and James III Hergenrader (Samuel); and her great grandchild Aris Hergenrader (Adonis Hergenrader).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
