He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Polson Sr. and Luella Gregston; and his siblings, Eugene Polson, Ralph Polson Jr. and Donna Lautenschlager.

He is survived by: his wife Dawn Lockwood; his children, Teri Jonas (Tim) and David Polson (Shunda); his grandson Tanner Jonas; and his brother Richard Polson (Sharon). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the family for designation at a later date.
