Betty Jane Scheffert Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 14, 2026, at the age of 93, Betty Jane Scheffert of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver and Gladys; her siblings, Chrystal Miller, Bob, Dick, Walter, Jack and Donnie Anderson; and her children, Linda Scheffert and Steven "Butler" Scheffert.

She is survived by: her cousin Anderson; her husband Albert "Jiggs" Scheffert; her daughter Cheryl Scheffert; her grandchildren, James, Diem Le Cagle (Tran), Jesse and Lewisa Waits (Walter); and her great grandchildren, Rubie, Athena and Zatanna. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
