Paul Harrison wrote a sympathy message

“I send my love to Betty’s family. I know she took care of you all. Betty and I started about the same time at Nebraska Book Company and we shared the same view of life. I tried to get to go see music with me and got her to go to the Zoo Bar for zydeco. She loved it and people there even remembered her . I never got her out again because there were always family duties when the bands were playing. We had made plans to get together when I came to Lincoln in April. .”
