Carol Cherep Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Cherep (Lincoln, Nebraska), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Cherep to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Mentzer and Bernice Mentzer (Anderson); and her brother Gerald Mentzer. She is survived by: her husband Steven; her children, Kelly Schroer (Brandon) and Brent Cherep (Kelli); her grandchildren, Zach Schroer (Rebekah), Sierra Bornschlegl (Malachi), Hailey Schroer, Delaney Cherep, Tenley Cherep and Caleigh Cherep; and her great grandchildren, Leighton Schroer and Selah Bornschlegl.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM.
