It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ruth Lechner of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Nebraska City, Nebraska, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hohman and Ruth Hohman (Gude); her husband Garry Lechner; and her sister Mary Ellen. She is survived by: her daughters, Julianne Robinson (Joe) of Santa Fe, TX, Jennifer Auman (Jeff) of Panama, NE and Robyn Maly (Jason) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Joey-Wayne Robinson, Joshua, Jenna Leigh Auman, Shawn Morrison, Cooper and Avery Maly; and her siblings, Barbara Goff of Arlington, TX, Robert Hohman (Ellen) of Jacksonville, FL, Jim Hohman (Linda) of Hays, KS, Ted Hohman (Joanne) of Rochester, NH and Tom Hohman of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Carol wished for memorials to be designated to her grandchildren's education fund.
