It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecelia Bernadt in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Cecelia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cecelia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A prayer will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (9101 S 78th St, Lincoln, NE 68516). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (9101 S 78th St, Lincoln, NE 68516). A reception will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made directly to the family for later distribution to causes close to Cecil's heart.
