Chris Lyberis Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 16, 2026, at the age of 98, Chris Lyberis of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Chris had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Chris may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Lyberis and Anna Lyberis (Grimes); his wife Georgia Morey; his son Jim; and his siblings, George, William and Nina.
He is survived by: his son Joe Lyberis; and his grandson Harley Lyberis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
The family requests that memorials be donated to Shriners Hospital for Children.
