She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis MacElwain and Helen MacElwain; and her husband Darrel. She is survived by: her granddaughter Coleen; her children, Marcee of Lincoln, Chris (Stephanie) of Ft. Collins, CO and Phil (Mary Beth) of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Will Seng (Lauren) of Ft. Collins, Jonah Seng (Lianne) of Ft. Collins, Olivia Seng (Addy Holmes) of Ft. Collins and Eleanor Seng of Lincoln; and her great grandchild Christopher Joseph Seng of Ft. Collins. She is also survived by extended family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to First United Methodist Church, Nebraska Wesleyan University, or Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska.
