He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bill, Jean Hill, George and Betty Shada; and his uncles, Michael Hill and Jack Irlmeier.

He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Hill and Pam Hill (Shada) of Kearney; his sister Ali (Mario Flores); his fiancé Jadin Bussell of Lincoln, NE; his nieces and nephews, Easton Adams of Omaha, NE, Makynlee Adams of Omaha, NE, Benjamin Flores of Kearney, Emerson Flores of Kearney, Isabelle Flores of Kearney and Jasmine Flores of Blue Hill, NE; his aunts, Janet Irlmeier, Jill (Pete Sage), Nancy (Bill Anderson) and Peggy (Monty Verbeck); and his great-aunt Bette Gull (Austin Mishou) of McCook, NE.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Kearney Public Schools Foundation for an aviation scholarship in Colton's Name, or First Baptist Church.
