She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Lincoln and Jacqueline Lincoln. She is survived by: her husband Larry Barksdale; her sons, Aaron N. Barksdale (Jill) and Nick A. Barksdale (Joi); her grandchildren, Bryce and Jase; and her stepgrandchildren, Audree, Austin (Elli) and Avery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Nebraska Public Media Foundation – organizations that reflect Connie's lifelong commitment to care, advocacy, and education.
