Craig Sievert Obituary

The memory of Craig Sievert of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Craig may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Craig touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his father Lloyd Sievert. He is survived by: his mother Betty Sievert of Lincoln; his wife Janet of Lincoln; his sons, Dan Deitemeyer (Karrie Simpson) and Joel Sievert (Kyla Linde); his grandson Eliot Linde Sievert; and his siblings, Cynthia Thorson of Omaha, Diane Svoboda of Seward, Rick Sievert of Lincoln and Debby Duffek of Lincoln. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Roper & Sons Midtown Chapel (4300 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
