We announce the death of Creighton E. Sturdy (Lincoln, Nebraska), who passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 77. Creighton will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Creighton’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Sturdy and Vivian Sturdy (Ross). He is survived by: his children, Brad Sturdy (Corrine) and Brenda Sturdy; his grandchildren, Jace Sturdy, Jaidyn Sturdy, McKenna Webel and McKensi Gress (Justin); and his siblings, Karin Chaffin, Bruce Sturdy (Val) and Ken Sturdy (Marlene). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM and at 3:30 PM.
