He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Young and Marilyn Young (Davis); his in-laws, Domingo and Florinda Chavez of Roswell; and also Randy Shackleton of Grand Island, Nebraska..
He is survived by: his brother Rick Young of Clive, IA; his grandchildren, Caleb, Bethany and Eve; and also Diane Baker.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elevate Church (8251 Pioneers Blvd, Lincoln, NE 68506).
