He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Fagan and Ellie Fagan (Hartsook); his uncle Donald Piening; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Hansen and Scott Borgmann.

He is survived by: his wife Jodi Fagan of Lincoln; his sons, Dustin Fagan (Hannah) of Waverly and Dillon Fagan (McKenzie) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Addison Fagan and Nora Fagan; his sisters, Deanne Hansen, Lynnee Thiemann (Kevin) and Karryn Glendenning (Earnest); and his aunt Darlene Piening of Lincoln. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
