Darrell Getzfred Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Getzfred of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on April 10, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Getzfred and Irene Getzfred (Reicks); his brothers, Bob and Larry; his sister-in-law Diane Getzfred; his niece Sherry Vidmar; and his nephew Nicholas Getzfred.

He is survived by: his brothers, Jim Getzfred (Betty) of Elgin, Neb., Bill Getzfred (Pat) of Gretna, Neb., Ron Getzfred of Dwight, Neb. and Mark Getzfred (Elizabeth Austin) of New York City; and his sisters-in-law, Carole Getzfred of Elgin and Pat Getzfred of Silver Spring. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorials are suggested to St. Boniface Catholic Church or Pope John Central Catholic High School in Elgin.
