He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Thieman and Lola Thieman (Holley); his wife Rita; his sister Barb Kaspar; his son-in-law Brandon Cooper; and his parents-in-law, Hermal Priest and Phyllis Priest.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shannan Myers (Bryon) of Cozad, Kellie Trew (Dave) of York, Carrie Miller (Sean) of Oconto and Jenni Cooper of Gothenburg; his sisters, Louetta McKelvey (Keith), Caroline Seeber and Shelly Reed (John); and his close friend Carol Stark. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Berryman Funeral Home (620 E 22nd St, Cozad, NE 69130).
