It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Tucker (Lincoln, Nebraska), born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tucker and Kathy Tucker; his former wife Kathy Tucker; his son DJ Tucker; and his grandsons, Emilio Artiaga and Romari Austin.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Dittmer; his mother-in-law Nola Tindle; his children, Christina Armstrong, Brenda Austin, Marcel, Alaya, SaMonni, NaTyah, Nyarial, Jeremiah, JaMir, Zaiven Austin, Cassidy East, David, Taylon Tucker, Brandi Dittmer, Jenna Dittmer, Laynea McPherson, Ayanah McPherson, Seriah Bazzar, SaMarah Coliers, Patrick Maestas and Raymond Maestas; his great grandchildren, Mariella, Eliano Artiaga, Arayiah Echols and Silo Worthon; and his siblings, Jim, Bob Tucker and Nancy Briggs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
