He is survived by: his nephew Denny; his wife Tamara Tighe Bornmann; and his daughter Maya (Tamara Tighe Bornmann).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the French Way Building (413 Euclid Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
