He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Meyer; his parents, Alfred Meyer and Evangeline Meyer; his sisters, Delores Omel and Charlene Hiegel; his sister-in-law Peggy Meyer; his brother Leroy; and his sister-in-law Margaret Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Shane Meyer (Alesha) of Alpha, MN, Sara Meyer (Tony McCullough) of Central City, NE, Suzann Butler (Joel) of Lincoln, NE and Scott Meyer (Amber) of Beatrice, NE; his brother Paul Meyer; and his brothers-in-law, Clarence Hiegel and Marion Omel (Sandy Jacobs). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
