She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hilyard and Leola Hilyard (Stimbert); and her brother Denny. She is survived by: her husband Richard Houston; her stepchildren, Debbie From (Tom), Lisa Drummond, Jeanie Webster (Jeff), Randy Houston and Connie Kline (Kody); her grandsons, Corey From, Brady From (Cassondra) and Matthew Drummond; and her stepgrandchildren, Brian Webster (Alyissa), Travis Webster (Darci), Calvin Webster (Kate), Hannah Webster, Marissa Houston, Cole Houston (Kindra), Alyssa Barron (Blake) and Megan Downing (Jonathan). She is also survived by children, especially her grandchildren, step-grandchildren and the next generation of great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (8400 Adams St, Lincoln, NE 68507).
She also served as a past P.E.O. Chapter HT president, a member of the New Nodaway Humane Society Board of Directors, and as secretary for the Second Century Library Foundation Fund/Maryville Public Library. In lieu of flowers please direct memorials to the New Nodaway Humane Society or the Maryville Public Library.
