She was predeceased by: her parents, Werner Selene and Lois Selene (Halferty); and her husband Stephen O. May. She is survived by: her children, Kristine Williams and Kurt May; her grandchildren, Liam Williams, Brandon May and Trista "Ren" May; her brother Alan Selene (Mary Beth Growney); and her nieces, Wendy, Jessica and Bridget. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In recognition of her service, Dianna received the Jerry Cox Memorial Award in 1985 for making significant contributions to the amateur radio community.
