He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Potter and Rose Potter; his brother Jim Potter; and his in-laws, Emil, Mary Tvrdy, Ray Tvrdy, Ann Houdek and Ben Kouma.
He is survived by: his wife Fran Potter; his children, Laurie Clark (Kevin), Carrie Smith (Joel), Jeremy Potter (Aubrey), Amanda Finder (Bob) and Jessica Garland (Steve); his grandchildren, Isaac, Emma Witteman (Josiah), Holly, Gabriel, Joe, Delphina, Sally, Morgan, Madeleine Horst (Logan), Clare, Jack, Noah, Claudia, Evie, Anderson, Isaiah, Ethan, Louis, Maria, Jude, John and Owen; his sister Elaine Kouma; and his sister-in-law Pat Potter. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
