He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley Mach and Laverne Mach (Straka); his wife Beverly Mach (Ronhovde); his children, Jeff Mach and Theresa Schaefer (Terry Jon); his grandsons, Philip Schaefer (Chelsae) and Carson Schaefer (Melissa); and his brother Richard Mach (Gail).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Eastridge Presbyterian Church Choral Department, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
