She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fred Gies and Lydia Gies (Heinbigner); her children, Julie Aksamit (Lincoln) and David Aksamit (April); her grandchildren, Cayden Aksamit, Bailey Kellner and Brad Kellner; her great grandchild Landon Kellner (Phoenix); her sister Vera Engdahl (Lincoln); and her friend Gary Aksamit.
