She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Richter and Elizabeth Richter (Krumbach); her husband Raymond C. Whitmore; her sons, Chris, Randall and Doug; her siblings, Agnes Reisdorff (Hershal), Bertha Thompson (Richard), Clarence Richter (Verda), Leo Richter (Agnes), Edward Richter and Lawrence Richter; and her in-laws, Howard, Wilma Whitmore, Lloyd Whitmore and Roberta Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Whitmore (Brenda) of Lincoln, Renee Schmid (Dave) of Valparaiso, Fran Hilger (Vic) of Lincoln and Jay Whitmore of Portland, OR; her daughters-in-law, Deb Whitmore of Shelby and Val Whitmore of Omaha; and her sister-in-law Doris Richter of Lincoln. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Vincent De Paul Church in Seward, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shelby, St. Peters in Lincoln or Aquinas High School in David City.
