He was predeceased by: his parents, Elaine Gibson and Milton Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Garst; his sons, Joel (Jill) of Omaha, Colin (Kelli) of Denver and Ian (Erica) of Lincoln; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Isaac, Sylvie, Estelle and Lennon.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation, People's City Mission, or the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra.
