With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas L. Curry of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Stromsburg, Nebraska, who passed away on April 26, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren H. and Mary L. Curry. He is survived by: his wife Verna; his siblings, Barbara Streeter and Jim; his children, Douglas (Heather), Christopher (Ashley), Warren (Clare), Adam (Meisha) and Melissa Phelan (Fred); and his grandchildren, Caroline and Nicholas.
Memorials in lieu of flowers to Crane Trust, St. Michael's Catholic Church or Southeast Community College Educational Foundation. Verna wishes to extend the family's heartfelt appreciation to the many friends that have helped us through Doug's journey with Alzheimer's. Thank you.
